2025 has been a defining year for SafeNav

This year, we moved from vision to validated reality and marked our first year as an independent company.

We advanced our COLREG-compliant decision-support platform (Co-Pilot) through real testing, live vessels, navy simulators, and operational dialogue with shipowners, navies, OEMs, and regulators. We strengthened our technical foundations, progressed on certification pathways, and demonstrated that safety-first, human-in-the-loop AI already has a clear role in modern maritime operations.

From my side as Founder and CEO, this year has also been personal. SafeNav is built together with professionals who have stood watch at sea, understand the pressure on a bridge at night, and believe technology should support navigators, not replace them. That principle continues to guide every technical and strategic decision we make.

Thank you to our team, partners, advisors, and early supporters for your trust and challenge. You have helped shape a company focused on credibility, safety, and long-term impact.

We enter 2026 with momentum and a clear mission: to make navigation safer, more explainable, and to strengthen safety culture through smart solutions to real problems at sea.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and some well-deserved rest during the holiday season.

Brgds // Capt. Jørgen Grindevoll // Founder & CEO // SafeNav
